The Undergraduate Practice Opportunity Scholarship (UPOS) project was officially launched at the College of Engineering on May 13. With an annual budget of 80,000 RMB, it is the first scholarship at Peking University set up specifically to facilitate internships and practice activities for undergraduates.
On May 4, over 30 board members of the College of Engineering Alumni Association met for the association’s second board meeting at Yingjie Overseas Exchange Center, Peking University. The meeting was organized by the Alumni Relations Office of COE.
On the 113th anniversary of Peking University, a large number of alumni returned to their beloved campus for a reunion. To give the College of Engineering’s alumni a warm welcome, the Alumni Relations Office of COE organized an alumni reunion event at Yingjie Overseas Exchange Center on May 4.
On April 28, the launch ceremony for Solar Decathlon China was held at Peking University. The event was witnessed by more than 200 attendees from China’s National Energy Administration (NEA), the U.S. Department of Energy, prominent domestic and international energy companies, and several Chinese universities.
