A research group led by Professor Zhensu She in the College of Engineering of Peking University has made a significant progress in the study of compressible turbulent boundary layers (CTBLs).
On September 12, the first batch of Master of Engineering Management (MEM) program students at Peking University attended the opening ceremony especially hosted for them by the College of Engineering (COE).

On August 20, Shiyi Chen, Professor in the Department of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering, gave an opening lecture on the opening ceremony of the 23rd International Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ICTAM2012).
