In the Session of Science and Technology, Assistant Professor Fanyang Mo from the Department of Energy and Resources Engineering took the Third Prize.
The forum provided for doctoral students in China an opportunity to communicate on the latest research progress and achievements in biomedical engineering and related engineering science.
For more than 20 years, Dr. Yueguang Wei developed the trans-scale mechanics theory and trans-scale mechanics method, and he applied the theory and methods to the characterizations of strength, toughness and failure of the advanced materials.
They were course “Energy Materials”, taught by Prof. Anyuan Cao from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and course "Modeling and Simulation", taught by Prof. Jie Song from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management.
13 researchers are from Peking University and 5 from the College of Engineering, including Prof. Steven Feng Chen, Associate Prof. Shaojun Guo, Prof. Zhisheng Duan, Prof. Long Wang, and Prof. Xiaowei Zhan.
On November 15, Clarivate Analytics announced 2017 Highly Cited Researchers, which is an annual list recognizing leading researchers in the sciences and social sciences from around the world.
This work has been published in Materials Horizons.
