Recently, as the result of the 2012 National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Appraisal came out, 90 papers won the honor. Instructed by Academician Lin Huang and Professor Zhisheng Duan of the Department of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering, the doctoral thesis “Consistency Area and Consistency Control of Multi-Agent Systems" of Dr. Zhongkui Li received this honor, along with the other 4 papers of Peking University.
Dr. Zhongkui Li began his doctoral studies in the Department of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering in 2005, with research directions on the coordination control theory of multi-agent system and its applications. In his doctoral dissertation, Li made in-depth study of the frontiers of consistency control of multi-agent system raised a design methodology of distributed observer, and a series of concepts including consistency region and consistency quality, to establish a relatively systematic framework for the design of distributed consistency control. The thesis instructors are Academician Lin Huang and Professor Zhisheng Duan.
The appraisal was officially launched by the Ministry of Education in November 2011. It is targeted at doctorate theses of those who received their doctoral degrees at dates between September 2009 and August 2010. By means of internal selection and expert suggestion, Peking University degree office recommended 24 papers to participate, and five of them finally won the honor.
