The Teaching Contest for PKU Young Teachers has been an annual event since 2000. It is jointly organized by the PKU Labor Union, Office of Teaching Affairs, Office of Human Resources, Graduate School and the Center for Modern Education Technology. It aims to provide an opportunity for PKU younger teachers to present teaching skills and exchange ideas on education.
The judging panel, normally made up of renowned professors and experts in the related fields, added student judges this year. The contestants, all with full preparation, delivered their classes with distinct feature and a variety of teaching tools.
The College of Engineering has always encouraged young teachers to participate in the contest. In the past years, with full support from the COE Labor Union, many teachers achieved the first, second and third prizes.
