On May 12, COE “2015 Excellent Graduate Students Review Meeting” was successfully held at room 210, No.1 Mechanic Building. Besides 25 candidates, Junkai Li, deputy party secretary of COE, Yongmao Pei, head teacher of the doctoral class, fuyuan Zhang, head teacher of the master class, Qingping Zhang, the educational administrator of master students, Zhao Li, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, and 19 students from all graduate grades attended this meeting.    

Firstly, the master and doctor students from different majors briefly and vividly elaborated their academic scores, research achievements, social contributions, internships and employments, covering not only the summary for the study period, but also expectation for the future career development. Meanwhile, the students expressed their gratitude to the teachers and school.    

Junkai Li commented on the presentations and performance of the candidates. She highly praised the students’ fruitful achievements and expressed her encouragement as well as expectations to all students.    

Through this meeting, 25 candidates demonstrated abundant social experiences and remarkable achievements of COE students in academic, working, daily life and volunteer activities, among others. This fierce competition finally resulted in 14 candidates of “Excellent Students of PKU” according to the careful evaluation of teachers and students.
