Peking University College of Engineering Executive Vice Dean Dongxiao Zhang  met Sudan Minister of Petroleum Dr. Lual Deng, China National Petroleum Corporation-Sudan General Manager Xiansheng Sun, as well as seven other Sudan visitors at Linghu Xuan, Peking University on April 14.

As an expert on energy resources and the founding chair of the Department of Energy and Resources Engineering, Zhang presented a brief introduction about the history and current situation of COE, especially in terms of international cooperation and relationships.

Deng was glad to hear that COE has intensive cooperation projects with CNPC, ExxonMobil  and Sinopec. He expressed interest in potential cooperation opportunities between the two parties.
