    Professors from Paris Institute of Technology visit the College of Engineering

  • On November 3, Professor Julien Bohdanowicz, dean of International Relations at Paris Institute of Technology (ParisTech) and Professor Honore Yin, also from ParisTech, visited the College of Engineering.

    Professor Shaoqiang Tang, Associate Dean of COE met with them at No. 60, Yannan Yuan. The two parties discussed possible student exchange programs.
     

    Tang began with an introduction of the College of Engineering, followed by an overview of current overseas student exchange programs. The Globex-Education exchange program, set to begin next summer, will send selected students to collaborating American, European and Asian universities for a semester. In return, overseas students will have opportunities to take courses in Beijing.The College of Engineering also has a joint Ph.D. program with Georgia Institute of Technology; students enrolled receive a diploma with seals from both universities.

    Bohdanowicz mentioned that the institute was keen on master students’ exchange programs and also welcomed undergraduate visiting students.
